Sarah Gahagan, CPT, CKT, CMT

Originally from Maine, Sarah moved to Boulder in 2014 to further her lifestyle of adventuring. An avid mountain and road biker, hiker, and skier, Sarah quickly found comfort in the mountains and people of Colorado. With her constant state of movement, Sarah recognizes the importance of maintaining a fluid and injury-free body, which is why she is committed to providing her clients with the foundation to success through massage therapy and functional training.

Certified as an ACSM trainer and NCBTMB massage therapist, Sarah has found great results from the partnership of massage and training. She understands the stresses our bodies have to endure in our pursuit of wellness and is aware of specific movement-related injuries and muscle fatigue. She has been in the industry for over 10 years and has worked with bodybuilders, professional athletes, pre- and post-natal, geriatric, and pediatric clients in both fields of work.

Sarah can provide Swedish massage, focusing on peace and resetting; Deep Tissue, focusing on release within the deeper muscle layers and fascia; or Sports massage, focusing on greater range-of-motion and the necessary pre- and post-event therapy. She also has training in Cupping and Gua Sha.

During her training sessions, Sarah provides a great mix of humor, drive, and skill, encouraging her clients to exceed their own expectations and goals. Her goal is that every day, her clients leave their session feeling better than when they started. She’s a stickler on form and won’t let anyone get away with cheating through a session! Her theory is simple: discipline equals freedom. Be consistent, and see results!

When Sarah’s not working with clients, she can be found training for off-road triathlons, adventuring in the mountains, making salads, and giving solid high-fives.
