Alignment Yoga for Athletes

Thursday mornings at 6:30am

 

Alignment Yoga for Athletes is a one-hour class designed to build strength and flexibility through the emphasis of forms and actions within yoga poses. This all-levels class moves at a slower pace in order to gain the full benefits of deep, powerful inner body alignment. This highly effective strengthening and stretching class has a weekly focus on athletes’ hard-to-open places - hips and hamstrings, quads, glutes, lower back, shoulders, and more. Enhance your athletic performance and experience what deep release feels like!

Class will be held Thursday mornings at 6:30a. Please reserve your space in class online. We would love to offer more options, let us know when you would like to see a class. 

 

Alex believes that one of the greatest joys in life is being curiously intimate with the spirit and body, and her therapeutic, lighthearted classes are a reflection of that joy. Alex strives to make her classes dynamic - you can expect deep melts and strong, energetic holds. She is fascinated with the deeply healing effects of subtle energetic alignment and weaves alignment-inspired principles throughout her class. Outside of the studio, Alex loves running, hiking, and snuggling her conditionally affectionate cat, Dave.
